Deputy Director
Prosenjit is a Deputy Director of the Audit Assurance with more than 20 years of experience in this field of services.

Experience
Prosenjit commenced his professional career with Coopers & Lybrand, India as an executive in audit division in 1990-1991. In October, 1991, he joined a medium sized accounting firm in Calcutta (Kolkata), eventually he became one of the Partners. In April 1997 he joined Ernst & Young, worked as a Manager and then Senior Manager. He was in charge of various big multi-locational, multi-product companies including Exide, Bata, Timken, etc. He has represented Ernst & Young (India) on to many international training programs. He was actively involved in the firm's national technical team & training team. Prosenjit left profession and joined Industry in Botswana in 2005 as the Group Chief Finance Officer in one of the leading Citizen owned group in the country.

His passion for practice led him to join Grant Thornton, Botswana in 2006 as a Senior Manager. His expertise in the audit profession led him to a promotion as deputy director of audit. Currently, he supervises audit of Consolidated Contractors Company, Woolworth Group, Phakalane Estate group, Cash Bazaar Group companies and various other small and medium sized clients. Prosenjit is also responsible for maintaining the standard and quality of the team.

Professional qualifications and memberships
Prosenjit became Chartered Accountant (India), qualified in 1989. He is currently, a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in India & Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants. He did his graduation in Commerce from Calcutta University, India.

Community involvement
He actively participates in social events and charity organisations.

Presentation and publication
Prosenjit is currently a co-opted member of the Technical Committee of Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants. He has made a presentation on the amendment on the Companies Act in Botswana in one of the CPD seminars held by Botswana Institute of Accountants.
