Anju heads our Corporate Services team. She has 16 years experience in providing consultancy and company secretarial services. Her expertise is in providing services to listed companies, privately held Businesses and Corporate. As Anju has several years of acquaintance with the business community in Botswana she also hold responsibility of Business Development of Grant Thornton, Botswana.

Experience
Anju enrolled was enrolled with the Bar Council of Kerala (India). She also qualified the prescribed examination for enrolment as Attorney in Botswana as per the Legal Practitioner's Act. Anju joined the Corporate Services division of Grant Thornton in 1995 as a junior executive. In recognition of her skills and achievements she was promoted as a Manager in 2000 and thereafter as an Associate Director in 2009. Early this year Anju was promoted as a Partner of Grant Thornton.

Anju was selected as a delegate to attend the Advanced Managers Training Program offered by Grant Thornton Leadership Institute to high performers and future leaders.

Sector experience
Anju provides consulting and related services for Private placements, listing with Botswana Stock Exchange, transfer secretarial work, attending to corporate actions.

Anju has gained expertise to advise clients on adherence to Corporate Governance principles, King Codes and acts as Board secretary to selected clients.

Anju's specialization lines include drafting of shareholders agreements, sale agreements, and service level agreements. Her expertise also includes Estate Administration, formation of Trusts, assisting clients with succession planning, preparation of WILL, Trade Mark registration. Anju has many years of experience in providing consultation on business opportunities and regulatory requirements in Botswana.

Professional qualifications, memberships and education

• LLB - Bachelor in Academic Laws
• ACIS -Associate member of Chartered Institute of Secretaries, South Africa.

Community involvement
Anju participates in all community activities that the firm takes up as part of the CSR activity
