Partner, Audit Assurance
Madhavan is a Partner of the audit assurance with more than 8 years in the field of audit and assurance services. He has been actively involved in imparting training on audit methodologies to the audit team. Madhavan specializes in the audits of various governmental, quasi governmental and non governmental organisation amongst others.

Experience
After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with a certificate of merit in Auditing, Madhavan worked in one of the largest private sector banks in India (erstwhile Bank of Punjab Limited).

Madhavan joined Grant Thornton in January 2003 as a senior executive and rose to become a Senior Manager in 2008. He was promoted as a Partner in Jan 2010.

Sector experience
During the course of his employment, Madhavan has undertaken the audits of several parastatals like BOCODOL, BIDPA, NFTRC, BNPC, NPF, government aided schools, many of the donor funded audits of EU, ADF, NACA, SADC, UNHCR, audits of Bank of Baroda, Global Holdings Group and also many other companies in Botswana. He has been instrumental in the management of parastatal and governmental audits.

Professional qualifications and memberships
Madhavan is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Fellow member of Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is also a B Com graduate from IGNOU, New Delhi.

Madhavan is a National Training Facilitator for the National Training Academy set up by Grant Thornton member firms in Southern Africa.

Community involvement
Madhavan actively participates in social events and charity organisations. He is a frequent blood donor in India and Botswana.
