Partner in charge of the Audit team. Spearheading the Audit team and proficiently handling clients from all sectors with the latest tools of audit methodology.

Experience
After qualifying as a Chartered accountant Dinesh joined S.B.Billimoria which now represents Deloitte &Touche in India. Dinesh joined Grant Thornton in 1999 as an assistant manager and with his expertise he got promoted as an Audit partner in 2003. His clientele includes various industries ranging from Bank and financial service companies, property investments, manufacturing, chain retail companies, cross border operations, donor aided funds and parastatals.

Sector experience
Experience includes being the Audit Partner/key expert for several large clients such as Turnstar, Bank of Baroda, BOCODOL, BIDPA, Botswana Telecommunications Authority, Botswana Agricultural Marketing Board, PEEPA, Global Holdings and several donor funded assignments in Botswana such as Soul City (an EU funded project handled for Grant Thornton, Pretoria), UNHCR funded project, CDC funded projects, and ADF funded projects, various projects with SADC as implementing partner. All these projects were in Botswana.

Professional qualifications and memberships

• ACA - Associate member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
• FCPA - Fellow member of Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants
• Appointed member of Risk Management Advisory Committee mandated to provide recommendation to Global Leadership Board of Grant Thornton International.
• Invited member of the Risk Management and Professional Standards committee of South African offices of Grant Thornton.
• Invited Member of Africa Auditing and Accounting Committee Meeting & European Auditing and Accounting Committee Meeting of Grant Thornton International.
• Team leader for Grant Thornton International Audit Review (GTAR), which conducts quality control reviews of the Grant Thornton member firms and its audit practices across the world.
• Past member of BICA technical committee and currently serving an important committee member of Institute
• Attended International Partners Development Programme conducted by Grant Thornton.

Community involvement
Keen participant in various social and community activities of Grant Thornton Botswana.
