All visitors must have a valid passport or other travel documents establishing the identity of the holder. A re-entry permit to the country of origin is needed if the country in which application for the Visa is made requires it.
Visa fees are generally only P25.00, but vary by nationality. Exact amounts may be ascertained from any Botswana High Commission, Labour Office or the Chief Immigration Officer.
Visitors are not allowed to work, except if exploring future prospects. A visitor who is interested in business or industry should contact the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in Gaborone for information and assistance.
